Terminal Facilities

Dunedin Airport’s passenger terminal is among the best equipped in the country.
In the terminal you will find:

Dunedin International Airport

ATM Machine

A Westpac ATM can be found near the front entrance of the terminal which takes all ATM and credit cards.

Baby Change Facilities

Babies can be fed and changed in the parent room on Level 1, to the right of the escalators. Facilities include a microwave, change facility, nappy disposal and toilet.

Baggage trolleys

Free baggage trolleys are available in the arrivals hall. Trolleys may be left in the trolley parks provided in the car park.

Duty free

There are two duty free stores at Dunedin Airport. One is located in the international departure area and the second is in the arrivals hall.

Goods may be purchased in advance for collection at the airport by ordering online.

Only passengers with valid tickets may purchase duty free items.

Kids PlaygroundFamily entertainment areas

Keeping children entertained while waiting for flights is easy. The X-Zone family entertainment area on Level 1 has 18 games machines including pin-ball, video and skill testers. Nearby is Time to Play where younger children can safely play while parents enjoy a refreshment break.

Food

Dunedin Airport has a large food court on Level 1 and a coffee shop on the ground floor.

Information Desk

The information desk on the ground floor is directly in front of the main doors and adjacent to the baggage claim area. If a staff member is not in attendance, a push of the button will summon help. When the staff member arrives they will only be too pleased to help with any issues or questions you may have.

Brochures are available on Dunedin’s accommodation and tourist options. Other services include key drop and direct dial phones to local accommodation, transport and attractions.

Keys

Car keys may be dropped off or collected from the Information Desk on the ground floor, adjacent to the baggage claim area. A small charge is made for this service.

Koru Lounge

Dunedin Airport’s Koru Lounge for Koru Club members is one of the best in the country. The business centre has free Internet access, two computers, LAN, fax, copier, printer and a quiet area for meetings. A mobile phone recharger is available for all makes and models. The latest magazines, quality food and beverages, plus friendly staff all make the Koru Lounge a relaxing place to await a flight.

Bag Storage                                       

Bag Storage is offered at Dunedin International Airport.  Please contact the Customer Services Desk located on the Ground Floor of the terminal for more information.

Lost property

If items are perishable or not claimed within twelve weeks, the item will be discarded.
For lost valuables such as wallets & passports, customers should contact the Airport Police on (03) 486-1290.

 Massage chairs

Massage Chairs

4 massage chairs are located on the ground floor and 2 on Level 1 of the terminal buidling.  For just $2 they offer a relaxing five minutes of heaven.

Post Box

A post box is located on Level 1 outside PaperPlus. It is cleared at 4.30pm on weekdays. Stamps, envelopes and post bags can be purchased from PaperPlus.

Shops

In addition to the food court and coffee shop, two stores stock gifts and indispensable items for travellers.

Paper Plus is a stationer, book shop, and post shop, all rolled into one. Books, magazines, stamps, personal items, postcards and many other forgotten items can be purchased here.

Try Otago is choc full of gift ideas to suit all ages and tastes. From wine and homewares, to jewellery and clothing, Try Otago will have the perfect gift item. Also for sale are sunglasses, bags, toys, and souvenirs.

Telephones

There is one public telephone: on the ground floor under the stairs. They take phone cards and coins. Phone cards may be purchased from Paper Plus.

Toilets

Clean and modern toilet facilities can be found on both the ground floor (adjacent to the baggage claim area) and Level 1 (turn right at the top of the escalator).

The ladies’ and men’s toilets on both levels include disabled facilities.

WiFi

FreeWiFi is available throughout the terminal for 30 minutes or 1000 MB, whichever occurs first. Following the free access, customers are able to choose from three paid usage options: Credit Card, Tomizone Account or Roaming Account.
