Dunedin Airport’s drop-off zone is situated past the terminal, alongside the rental car offices. No parking is allowed in these drop-off zones. In order to keep the zone clear for drivers to drop off passengers, vehicles left unattended in this area will be clamped. The fee payable is $70.
Designated mobility parking areas are located in the car park near the terminal entrance. A mobility sticker must be displayed to park here.
There is currently no bus service between the airport and Dunedin. Services to Central Otago and Invercargill may be booked in advance. Buses and shuttles are offered by a variety of companies and will pick up and drop off passengers as required. Read More »

Parking is inexpensive, secure and uncomplicated.
We have just one carpark which is operational 24 hours a day every day of the year. Passengers wishing to leave their cars while travelling can do so for as long as they like. The carpark is lit at night and has barriers around the perimeter. Staff are on the airport 24 hours and carry out regular patrols and surveillance.

How to use the parking system.
1. On entering a carpark, the barrier machine will issue you with a ticket
2. Park vehicle and take ticket with you
3. Pay for your parking at a Payment station, before returning to your vehicle
4. Drive to exit and insert PAID ticket, the barrier arm will open for you

The rental car offices are located at the southern end of the terminal building, just beyond the statue of the Southern Man. Hours of operation coincide with flight arrivals and departures. There is an outside-hours key drop-off box inside the rental car office building.
